Stampin Up! ~ Birthday Wishes

Today I have a Birthday card for a guy. Changing the colors could  turn this in to a girlie card also :o) The DSP I used  is from the 2012-2014 colors in Midnight Muse. The cardstock is Crumb Cake and Smokey Slate and ink was used in the same colors. The sentiment is from The  Scrapbooking Queen and I used the Modern Label punch. For the banner I used the stamp set Banner Blast and the Banner punch. These banner cards are fun and cute!

Stampin Up! ~ Just For You

I definitely Love my Disney cards, projects and mini albums! Lately I have been making quite a few Mickey and Minnie cards. For my circle die I used the Lacey Circles die from Neastabilities and cut the inner circle out with my Cricut. The Mickey head was cutout with my Cricut also using the Mickey and Friends cartridge, cut at 2 inches. I put a Pool Party bow on top and turned it in to Minnie :o) The DSP I used came from the Sweet Sorbet stack. My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes that I punched out with the Word Window punch and layered on a piece of Pool Party cardstock I punched using the Modern Label punch. Finished it all off with some rhinestones. I just love this card!

The colors I used are Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Real Red and Summer Starfruit. Pretty simple card that you can use for a girl or boy :o)

Stampin Up! ~ Friend to Friend

Today's card is from a challenge! One of my really good friends (a BFF really) lives in California. We text almost daily and Skype 2-3 times a week usually :o) Well... one evening we were talking about embossing folders and saw that we both have some of the same ones. More specifically, Cloudy Day from Stampin Up!. I hadn't used mine yet so I suggested that her and I make a card using this folder and sending it to each other, so much fun! In fact, we are finishing up another "challenge" and getting ready for the next :o) Here is my card I made for her. I used a cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge in her favorite colors Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe. I used an EK Success border punch for my scallops, the Cloudy Day impressions folder and my sentiment came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set which I punched out with the Word Window punch and layered on the Modern Label punch. The  flowers were stamped from the Itty Bitty's stamp set (retired) and punched with a tiny flower from the Punch Pack (retiring). I really love the way this turned out and I can say she loves it! Hello Kitty is her favorite :o)

More Paint Chip Butterflies

Did I tell you how much I am loving making these cards? Well... I do! They just turn out so gorgeous! They are very simple to make actually and I have a video tutorial on my YT channel that I will link at the bottom :o) I have a total of six of them today as I couldn't stop making them! All of the cardstock, minus the last one, is Recollections. I also used a variety of inks that include Memento colors Espresso Truffle, Dandelion and Teal Zeal along with some Stampin Up! colors Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana. The last card I used Perfect Plum ink and cardstock from SU. I used two different Sizzix embossing folders, Butterflies and Dots. I love both of them! Pearls and Rhinestones are from Michael's and the paint chips all came from WalMart.

Here is my tutorial video :o)

Stampin Up! ~ Happy Mother's Day

Today I have a card style that I made several of. Different color combos and flowers but same theme, funny thing is... I forgot to take pictures of them! DUH! I only have one photo to share but, the colors I used together were Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party and Summer Starfruit. For the flowers I used the Petite Petals stamp set and punch. For my sentiment I used Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, the Word Window punch and Modern Label punch. The Die cut is from a Nestabilities set called Labels Twenty Five which I ran through my Cuttlebug using the Sizzix Dots folder. The DSP is from the Sweet Sorbet pack and the cardstock is from Coredinations in Pool Party. The ribbon is also Pool Party.

Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow mom's out there!I hope you all have the most wonderful day!

Mr & Mrs

Today I have a wedding card I made for a friend of a friend :o) This is a very simple card yet still very pretty, I think. The patterned paper is from Making Memories, the embossing folder is from Sizzix called Flowers. I thought it matched the paper perfectly! I used some sheer and satin black ribbon with a pewter Making Memories ribbon slider as my focal point. I added some rhinestones to the ribbon for that little bit of sparkle that was needed. After all, it is a wedding card :o)

Thanks for coming by again!

Stampin Up! ~ With Sympathy

I was asked to make a couple of sympathy cards.I have never made one before so I wasn't quite sure what they were suppose to look like. The more I thought about it, the more I realized, that they don't have to be ugly and sad. I wanted mine to pretty and cheery, considering the situation in what they were being used for. People lose loved ones, and pets even, all the time. Why shouldn't the card you give them help them smile and maybe feel a little better? I hope I accomplished that with these two cards. I used Perfect Plum and So Saffron for my colors, a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Divine Swirl and the stamp set is an older set called Merci. The sentiment I used is from Teeny Tiny Wishes punched out using the Word Window punch and layered with the Modern Label punch, finished off with some Basic Rhinestones which I also added to the center of the flower.
