For the banner I used a set called Banner Blast (discontinued) and our new set called Banner Banter. I also used a retired set called Itty Bitties for my images inside the banner outline. The Hapy Halloween came from Teeny Tiny Wishes and was punched out with the Word Window punch and mounted on the Modern Label punch. The tiny bat came from a Studio G punch and I used some Crochet thread for my banner string and tied little bows for the ends :o). The paper came from a Halloween stack by the Paper Studio called Trick or Treat and everything was stamped using Memento inks... Tuxedo Black, Grape Jelly, Morocco and Pear Tart. Autumn Greetings

Today I have a Fall card that I created for a challenge. The challenge was to use the Envelope Punch Board to create a card and matching envelope with a holiday theme. This is mine :o) I used some patterned paper from the Paper Studio called All Seasons, a Paper Studio Maple Leaf punch using some SU! cardstock in Lucky Limeade (retired color), Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry. The brown is from Recollections. The brown gingham ribbon is from WalMart that I picked up last year and the sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo. I used a gold Gelly roll pen to finish off the leaves for more detail. On the inside I used the same ink colors as my leaves to stamp a tiny maple leaf from the Itty Bitties stamp set (retired).

Enjoy your Retirement

Jeremy asked me to make a card that was  bigger than my normal A2 size for a guy at work who is retiring this week. The size of this card is a 5x7. The image was found on Google and I printed it out twice so I could pop up the guy on the hammock. I used kraft cardstock for my mat along with some textured cardstock in green. I cut a piece of burlap to make it more "guy" looking and took my distress tool to the edges of the image. I don't have a lot of experience with guy cards but I think it turned out pretty good :o)

Thanks for stopping in,see you soon :o)

Waterfall Folio - Hike and Seek

This Waterfall Folio I made to house pictures of event we took Ty and Caleb to last year called Hike and Seek. It's a two mile, or so, semi hike with some activity stops along the way. It  was fun but when you have gone once, that is enough :o) It comes around every year but I don't think we will do it again. I had only taken 17 photos and that was just enough to put inside this album. The papers I used are from a Paper Studio pack called Great Outdoors. It was perfect for this! I cut some of the elements from the paper to go along with it and used an Action Wobble for my "compass" piece. The letters I cut using my Cricut and the Don Juan Font cartridge.

I have a video look through here with photos added :o)

Pirate Composition Notebook

Here is a notebook I covered for a little boy named JD. He is starting to draw shapes and learn how to write letters so I thought this would be great for him to have. The paper I used is from a DCWV stack called All About Boys. His name I cut using my Cricut and the Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge. I inked all around the book using Crumb Cake from SU! and Kraft cardstock from Recollections was used for my spine :o)
